My run yesterday was through neighborhoods -- apparently teenagers doing organized sporting events get first dibs on the track at their high school -- and damn. Neighborhoods are a bad idea.

My time was slightly worse. I didn't know where I was going, and was on streets a lot. I got back to land I know towards the end, and my pace improved dramatically.

Pain. My left leg hurts. I'll be trying to do some stretching today. And, of course, ibuprofen.

I'm hopeful the track will be open tomorrow morning. Otherwise, I'll loop back to land I know rather than trying neighborhoods. Run around the library's fields.

The race on Saturday morning is through streets, and is downhill. WAY downhill. CRAZY DOWNHILL.
