Hey, you know what's hard?
During your normal run, but outside after only the treadmill for a year, with a cold and no access to water.
I could barely breathe through the asthma wheezing. My throat was on fire and it hurt when I drank water. I took a shower to rid myself of the disgusting sweat, and I was shaking.
I'll do it again tomorrow, and I'll do it a lot quicker.

Man, you gotta bring water with, particularly when your throat and sinuses are inflamed already.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteNormally, there's a water fountain near the library. It worked last year. I didn't realize they'd turned it off due to the construction.
Hopefully I learned something!
Geez, be careful! Nothing screws up training as badly as an injury does. Ask me how I know this :(
ReplyDeleteJohn Aegard Agreed. I slowed way down when my knee started hurting.
