  2. Hmm higher protein and lower sodium is my go to to steady changes. And all you can eat broccoli :)

  5. I'd go low sodium (low processed food) as much as possible. That should keep water retention down. High protein will do similar and help reduce hunger in my experience.

  6. Running a 5k puts me down about a pound.

    So ... if I run for five hours, I should lose well over five pounds of water, right?

    I'm pretty sure that a) wouldn't work, and b) might cause an immediate medical event.
