Slept better. I didn't work out, as my knee felt wrong and that's one thing I'm not willing to mess with.
1.5 pounds to go. Astonishing what happens when you stop drinking.

In general, I've been amazed at the immediacy of the weight impact that comes from reducing liquid calories.
ReplyDeleteLike, I was working in an office maybe a decade ago. Each day I'd grab a 20 oz bottle of cola from the machine and have it with lunch. Sometimes I'd have a second one. Then I dropped the habit and lost like 5 or 6 pounds over the next two weeks. Not drinking cola beverages at work was the only change I made.
Nowadays I do mostly water, supplemented by coffee and tea.
I drink so much coffee

ReplyDeleteMy coffee regime, 5 day/week. All are approximate:
ReplyDelete7:30 AM: First & Best coffee, with my wife.
9:00 AM: First office coffee, figuring out the work day.
9:30 AM: Second office coffee, curse the idiots
10:00 AM: Late morning coffee, solve some problems.
1:00 PM: Post lunch coffee.
On Wednesday and Thursday, add in:
8:00: Gaming Tea
The weekends are a bit more chaotic.
