I voted this morning and it was a far more satisfying feeling than I had expected.
Then as I drove to work, I put on The Schuyler Sisters, singing along, pondering an even crazier time when the Vice President could very well shoot someone on purpose.
This has been so far beyond the pale of the expected norms. It kept getting worse -- and more dramatic -- until they, apparently, took away his twitter. Which is also beyond the pale.
Out of town, so I'm a contender for "earliest" having voted absentee a month or so in the past.
