we have a lot of people living in self-centered ignorance. you lived there, you know. also, hrc wasn't the candidate of change for the times. maybe if the establishment had ushered in bernie as the people were leaning, he could have fought the donald. where do you think we'll bomb first?
Todd Sprang I'm just as concerned about who is going to bomb us first. A certain country was playing with their bombs over the summer, perfecting them most likely. I wonder who they have in mind. When you have the future leader of America talking about bombing every country he doesn't like, it stands to reason somebody is gonna be ready. I'm thinking Russia is not worried about getting bombed by us. Who bombs their friends. It would not surprise me if we get nuked off the map on inauguration day. Why wait to see what your enemy will do when you can beat him to the punch? If that doesn't happen, I predict we will become a part of Russia. Rushamerica?
The same thing that's always been wrong with America. Greed, narcissism, hypocrisy, lust, hatred, being closed minded, refusal to take responsibility for our choices, no sense of ownership of our communities anymore. Just to name a few.
Our ancestors were illegal immigrants here and systematically stole land from its rightful owners until said owners were relegated to tiny pieces of land and left to die off for the most part. They justified their actions saying that savages could not own land.
Then our God fearing ancestors realized how rich they could become off the blood, sweat and tears of kidnap victims. They then justified that by say that their own people sold them, as if that makes it okay. Who are the savages?
When forced to give up slaves, they built prisons and added a justification clause known as the Thirteenth amendment. And you just thought slavery was over. Then they privatized some prisons so they could have slave labor AND make them pay to wash their clothes and pay deductibles for less than adequate health care.
Former slaves were then crammed together in "projects" and given little or no education. Little has changed regarding education for minorities. So we refuse to provide adequate education and then sit on our self-righteous high horse to complain about welfare and crime among minorities.
We twist the words of the bible into a pretzel to fit our wants and needs. We have become experts at making those words work to our advantage every time.
Never forget that we started out as uninvited, unwanted illegal immigrants. What if we had been tosssed out? Huh, maybe America would be great right about now.
I did feel that way. The end, I mean. Sometimes we get complacent in life. Sometimes we need fire under our butts to wake us up. This man does not define us and we are not helpless. There are things we can do even if he makes it to inauguration day alive. My bad. Did I say that? I heard him say that about Hillary. I didn't really mean that, maybe
That's rhetorical right?

I'm sorry. This is my short version.
Yeah, Leah Wright , that's all right enough. November 8 at night I was ... angry. The beginning of the end. I'm still processing.
