NPR this morning allowed a fascist white supremacist to shout down there host while talking about birthright citizenship. This was some asshole who works for that asshole.
I emailed, asking them to stop allowing these people on the show. And, of course, pointing out the host deserves better.
I figure if rpg.net can be anti-Trump, so can WAMU.

This seems like a recent pattern, as regards Repubs and NPR. Earlier this week Comstock was shouting at Kojo Nnamdi. How do you shout at Kojo Nnamdi?
ReplyDelete... I guess first by deciding that he's not an American, so it's OK to shout?
ReplyDeleteIt's disgusting that they'd give air to someone like that.
ReplyDeleteRobert Bohl In defense of NPR, they started the segment by reading the 14th amendment. Then pointed out to the fascist that we have birthright citizenship to end the south being a bag of dicks.
ReplyDeleteAnd, historically, it makes good sense for NPR to have on representatives of the administration. That's usually real decent journalism. Just not this administration.
It's just taking them a while to realize that.
Honestly, the technical fix is the right one: NPR controls the microphones. Have them on, hit them with hard questions, and only then bring their mic live.
ReplyDeleteOfficials who can't handle that arrangement should fear the media's power.
And if the NPR hosts are unwilling or unable to mute a representative of the fascist administration, then do not have them on.
