The undying pdf dropped. What an enjoyable thing to read!

The undying pdf dropped. What an enjoyable thing to read!

It is very well put together. The words are crisp and delightful. The system makes me think of WoD, but is definetly pbta.

The difference between nightly moves and downtime moves are great, and the sort of thing I've rarely seen in pbta.

Hooray!

  1. This Move?

    FLAUNT
When you flaunt what your maker gave you and use supernatural
predator abilities to your advantage, spend 1 blood and say what you do.
This includes superhuman strength, speed, savvy, allure, intimidation, etc.

That's what pbta does so well; that is about a half dozen disciplines compressed into a single move.

  2. But ... but ... I have to prove that being intelligent and perceptive is better than just being strong and fast and tough (and popular).

    I NEED TO PROVE THAT!

How will this game system help me in this quest that underscores the very questions of my own existence as a person? If it's all just ... stuff the character does ... then what does it prove? WHAT DOES IT PROVE?

  3. Tony Lower-Basch Don't forget: I need to prove that my system mastery is better than yours.

  6. That sounds great. Ahh looks like I missed out on the KS. Now to stalk it I guess. :)

  7. ... Ryan Good , do we know each other well enough? Are we, in fact, people who game together?

  8. I am not sure what you are implying. I won't be stocking you or anything, just this game... and as it turns out... it was rather short lived.

It didn't take much poking around at all, to find that the text for it was releases... I think in the Undying G+ group. So I will check that out tonight.

  9. Good! With most things, I have an "ok to share with people i game with" rule, which I blatantly stole from Dungeon World. That is, if I'd game with someone, I feel perfectly OK with showing them gaming materials that I have. Makes sense, i hope?

  10. Oh right, I forgot they put the text up online. Brain blankage!

  11. Yup that makes sense 100%. I pretty much have the same rule. Although even though my gaming group has access to my google drive and all the PDF's there... none of them really ever look.
