There's a moment when she explains to her husband about her past history with the colonel or whatever who is in charge of the base. She describes a variety of ills, and ends with "he's grabby".
She immediately regrets it, and it's all her husband can think about. She has to tell him not with me, and then he's mollified.
On the one hand: It's to his credit that a grabby man in a position of authority would bother him. On the obvious other hand: Once his wife is not being affected, he doesn't care so much.
Granted, he was exhausted and that often reduces one's circle of concern, yet still.
Tony Lower-Basch OK, here's what I noticed about that: It's the frst time I knew she has two fucking doctorates. She's always "Mrs", but not to Mr. Goddamn Wizard.

That makes sense. That's about when I choked up, so on point.
