I finally read my copy of Keith Stetson's Secco Creek.
It reads like the tightest, best constructed of Fiasco playsets, with mechanics to learn towards the serious.
I want to play this. Then I want to run it. Then I want to play it again.

I'm running a two-shot for The Gauntlet the next two Tuesdays. Assuming that goes well I might be willing to run it at Nerdly.
ReplyDeleteSweet, Shane. I'd play that!
ReplyDeleteYeah I really dig the Negotiation part.
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for these specific-scenario games (Seco Creek, Witch, Love in the Time of Seid, etc). I wish they had their own category
I think you'll crush it. As long as people buy into the premise, the game does a great job of giving you ways of upping the pressure
ReplyDeleteDavid Rothfeder Yeah when Keith Stetson ran it at Dreamation I could totally see that... I'm planning on watching a few westerns over the weekend to get into the mood.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what I was doing instead of playing that. Prolly Night Witches.
ReplyDeleteI had a great time being a villain in that game
ReplyDeleteI hope someone brings jailer's keys to Nerdly.
ReplyDeleteDylan Ross I think I know a guy...
