#RPGaDay day 8: What's a good RPG for 2 hours or less?
There's a couple that spring to mind.
1. 3-handed Fiasco, though it may be a little tight.
2. The King Is Dead, which seems designed for such a slot.
3. Dream Askew, though it'll be hard to get into that slot.

Okay, this is going to too indie for belief, but my lady friend and I got out a tarot deck with illustrations we liked (lots of weird illustrations of faeries and animals--one had a faerie growing out of a snail's back) and we just picked a card and took turns incorporating the picture on the card into a story. We stopped when we felt like the story had reached a good ending.
ReplyDeleteIs that an RPG? I don't know. But if you want to play a storytelling game and don't have a lot of time, you can use simple mechanics like that to spark ideas.
I've never played this, but it looks good. I bet a smart guy like you could do a cyberpunk/supers/post-apocalyptic hack of this in a New York minute...
