A Hutt crimelord works like a hardholder. Other playbooks are various sorts in the Hutt's employ/entourage/court: musicians, dancers, bounty hunters, smugglers, assassins, droids. They all have their own agendas and intrigue against one other, despite openly acting as the Hutt's honored guests.
We are going to play out X Star Wars movie, pick a playbook and a character from one of the movies and use what we know of them plus Hx/Bonds to define new interpersonal relationships.
Outer Rim territory under an Imperial Garrison, with simmering tensions and people pushing the (PC) governor this way and that. Halfway through the session, they hear the news of the destruction of the second Death Star and the death of Palpatine. The governor is given no orders ... it's not clear that anyone has remained at their posts to give orders.
Playing off of what Tony Lower-Basch said, being part of a spy/commando group out to neutralize Thrawn (or whoever, depending on the continuity) after the Battle of Endor.
Robert Bohl: It was just intended to be border outpost conflicts in the collapse of a fascist state, but it's hard not to view everything through the lens of current events, eh?
After the desctruction of the second death star ... The imperial customs officer was told by her boss the sector moff to crack down on smuggling and not let anyone leave. His counterpart the Princess was told to enact order 66, and the Moff told her that he is now the Emperor.
The two local jedis found each other; one was working for the Princess and used the force to "make" twins for her, the other was working with a smuggling who'd just been taken in by the imperial customs officer.
Rescue workers on a planet that someone evil is about to destroy. They're working evacuation.
