  2. (Just to be clear: This is tongue in cheek. I'm super happy for you, Robert Bohl .)

  3. Very jelly about KSD. Ask her if she wants a copy of War Birds, Robert Bohl !

  4. (really, we should have sent you with a boat load of games to leave with those folks.)

  5. I was told they're sick of being given games and it was good I lost the game I was gonna give.

  6. I'm sure that's true. We've given games to most of them as part of the projects we've done, but I try to always ask what they want instead of just dumping stuff on them. I bet Wil has a garage full of unwanted freebies.

  7. Ah well, just thought she might like it with her love of WW2 female fliers.

  8. Mo, can you give me an in? How has she expressed her interest in WW2 lady fliers?

  9. Tagging Mo Jave because we are about to have lunch together.

  10. Oh! Robert Bohl  Captain Marvel is full of them. Carol Danvers goes back in time and works with the Banshee Squadron a kick ass group of female soldiers in WW2 including pilots and mechanics.

Plus one of her Capt Marvel feature characters, Helen Cobb is essentially one of the 99 (foundation female pilots, even if unofficially) and We Were WASP is about the roots of women in aviation, about how women risked their lives to fly and about how after the war they were grounded and ousted after the war.

If it does come up, you can tell her I don't expect anything to come of it or anything. I would just get a kick out of sharing it with her.

  11. And pinging you again Robert Bohl because I realize you won't see all the edits I made to the above comment without it.

    Thanks!

  12. Ok, I told her about it. I used the stuff you gave me about her interest in WWII lady pilots as intro and she was like, "Yes, I've heard of Night Witches," (pleasantly) before I could name #feminism. Then I did. I told her about War Birds and also the game about telling your mom about doing sex work. She seemed pretty interested.
