I'm a wreck.

  1. Thanks. Positive message will probably do some help, yes.

I've got unexplained internal pain + Tiredness + annoyance at my own clumsiness + mild anxiety on being judged, when there's a thing not even about me. Gah, seriously William get over yourself.

All of which isn't meshing well. Basically.

The pain is probably just a sore muscle from finding out that jalepeno makes me hiccup. Which is remarkably sad: I love spicy foods.

The tiredness is from sleeping in a tent, and magnified by the clumsiness.

Speaking of the clumsiness, i stubbed my toe and spilled milk on the couch last night. Because I'm an oaf. So now maybe we have to get a new couch. Plan was to replace it next year, not this year. There's not cash set aside for that this year.

The last anxiety is a thing that wouldn't be a thing if not for the others, because I'd know its not meaningfully about me.

So ... that. All that is why I'm a wreck.

  2. Well, if it helps at all you seem cool and I like the things you post.
    Feel better soon!

  3. I can empathize completely. If you can, set some time aside for a nap, or go to bed early for the next couple days. A sleep debt can be repaid. I think you might be able to repair your couch. Whitney once spilled chocolate milk all over the inside of his car and we had to keep said car for another year. I think I remember using a baking soda solution. Nature's Miracle, the stuff for cleaning up pet stains, also works really well.

Keep in mind that there's a William outside these events that is competent and has things together. Sometimes all your bad days come together in one go, but they don't usually stay.

  4. Pretty sure my little toe is broken. Purple and swollen.

  5. That happened to my MIL. She ran into an ottoman before work one day. IIRC there's nothing much you can do about it except be careful, because it's an awkward bone to heal.

  6. Yeah. This isn't the first time I've broken a pinkie toe, either.

  8. Nothing is broken, but I am on the "handfuls of ibuprofen" plan. And the "breathe into this tube" plan.

    Gah. Sucks.

  9. One trick I learned in the hospital was to alternate taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I took a dosage of 3 pills at a time.
