So the banking industry uses large prime numbers for transaction incription and has been turning to the math community to solve an old problem. We have notices in math prime numbers sometimes come in twins, where two consecutive odd numbers are both prime (example 17 and 19). Mathematicians have been looking for a pattern to predicting when a twin prime will occur and I'm sure they would love your help. My understanding is there is a bounty on this proof.

ReplyDeleteGo to Netflix. Load Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Season 6, episode 20. Go to the fifty second mark. Watch for twenty seconds.
ReplyDelete... between fifty seconds and 70 seconds, Vic ends his song. Now he's voncing everyone that his funk is better than theirs....
ReplyDeleteOh wow, he's an empath. That's amazing.
ReplyDeleteNo. Kira's look. Lyric section: "You're nobody, 'til somebody, loves you, so find yourself somebody."
ReplyDeleteAh. Yes.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Vic also pics up on it, but I wonder how much of that he picked up on while singing.
ReplyDeleteIMO, the whole episode reads differently depending on whether you think Vic spotted that look.
ReplyDeleteEDIT: though I suppose you're rewatching the series, so you'll just have to wait six seasons to make that judgment. :-)
