It's not so much that we're all dying of slime lung....
... as that so many of us have slime lung we can't solve the food problem.
... and so, cannot solve the heat problem
... and are about to die overheating, starvation, and slime lung all at once.

ReplyDeleteWe still have coal, yes. But not enough duplicant power to get enough into the plant. And we expanded consumers faster than producers, so have empty batteries.
ReplyDeleteAh, yeah. Coal is a great electrical supply when you're labor-saturated, not so much when half your crew is busy at the sickbeds of the other half. My sympathies.
