William Nichols some of us need insulin to keep kicking ass, I'm all for that. Like, I have had work insurance for most of my adult life, and I am happy to pay for my uninsured neighbors. I'm not a fan of wholesale human misery, you see.
Rocio Goodey They pulled the bill after the President demanded a vote. So, it's a bit more spectacular than just getting a 'no' vote - basically, the GOP started auto-cannibalizing. Again.
Basically they determined it wouldn't pass if it came to a vote, so they decided to pull it for now. This isn't necessarily a permanent win... though Trumps whole "If you don't vote for this I'll just leave in Obamacare!" threat is like... so wtf? Is that a threat? Are you threatening people with just leaving the thing that they want in place, in place?
He also tried to threaten their seats, which was part of why he tried to force a vote. That bluff didn't work, and now the Traitor is claiming it was his idea all along to leave it alone and let it collapse.
We shall see.
