I'm a double-upper, I listen to sad when sad, happy when happy. (I mix it up, but those are the purposeful ones.) It's probably good to balance them out that way!
I mean that you balance them out well, in case I was unclear.
(Currently I'm listening to Skrillex's album Recess, with Fire Away being my sad song and Coast is Clear being my happy song, and I listened to both on my way home today.)
so much Carissas Wierd, happy or sad. sad music when I'm sad can end up being too much and I'm sobbing over The Antlers or Against Me! into my cheerios

well, just tried that on a Pandora station. I think I'm in too much of a retro mood for new things, which I wasn't expecting.
ReplyDeleteAh well, back to Queen. Or, in this case, The Animals doing The House of the Rising Sun.

ReplyDeleteNothing, just couldn't let it be unanimous. I can think up some BS if you want...
ReplyDeleteI have a track list that is entirely made up of songs about terrible, terrible things happening ... sung in boppy, upbeat ways.
