The revolution took a major step forward yesterday during our retro. I'm very pleased with the team self advocating, and equally pleased that I had a solution waiting to go.
Team comes to me yesterday: William we don't know what items are ready because the task board is stupid.
Me: Management has consistently told me you guys love the current board, and asked me to stop having this conversation. .... Here's a better way to do the task board. Let's try it as an experiment.
"Management has told me that the devs love this technology" ... yeah, it absolutely makes sense that management would need to relay that information, because devs are widely known to be shy and retiring about their opinions regarding technology.
Not learning. Leading. Fucking Leading.
