If you watch Netflix's original show Ascension, give it two episodes. We just about quit after the dumbness of the first one, and were pleasantly surprised by the second. No idea if it is good after that.
yeah i could barely make it through the first episode. darn netflix gave it 4.5 stars to me too. really wanted to like it. but man! what suckage.
though wow, did you attend to the long shot as the camera pulled back out of the ship? that was pretty impressive fx.
but i'm not hearing that you finished. just tentatively-wasted another hour? has anyone suffered through it that could say: yeah, the sci part of the sci-fi is complete rubbish, but the story gets really good?

in other wtfs, "sense 8" also. it's like they heard there was a formula to making tv, but they never actually read it.
